Unique weight loss system…

Body Warfare Nutrition offers a three option system for those wanting to
lose weight:

  1. Individual consultations.
  2. Optifast quick weight loss support group.
  3. Body Warfare behaviour change group.

This unique weight loss system recognises that there is an initial weight
loss phase, however if this is not accompanied by a change in thoughts
and habits it will only be short term. The weight loss system in use at
Body Warfare Nutrition is based upon Lisa Renn’s book “Body Warfare –
The Secret to Permanent Weight Loss” , utilising health coaching,
motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural therapy techniques to
achieve sustainable weight loss. The use of Optifast, for certain clients,
as a means of rapid weight loss is based on the Austin Hospital’s Obesity
Clinic and does require GP input with monitoring. Practise nurses are also
valuable members of the team. For children, adolescents and those
preferring not to work in a group format, advice will be delivered via an
individual consultation.
